I use Skype every day. I use it for instant messaging between different members of teams I am on at work. It is much easier to send a quick message to all members and have each reply and get a conversation going. We also hold meetings over Skype. We can share our desktops with each other for presentations, document sharing, or demonstrating new software. It works great when not everyone can be in the office or meeting room.
