Podcast.com VS Podcastalley.com

This was my first visit to both of these websites. To me there was really no comparison. Podcast alley was very basic, but at the same time hard to navigate. I had trouble searching for podcasts or really even figuring out what the website was trying to promote. Podcast alley was well laid out, easy to search, and just looked much better. I was able to find many different podcasts that fell within my interests. For me, podcast alley is just the better website.

This site made me feel old and out of touch. I just really do not get the point of it. I uploaded a few of my favorite bookmarks and did some searches for things I like. I did not get many results and those I did get were resources I already use. I can get the same information from Google searches. I will give it another go in the name of science. I do feel like it is something I am doing wrong or not getting, but for me it does not have much of a use.

I have been a user of LinkedIn for quite a while. I am connected to many people in both the hospital and technology fields. I think the biggest thing I get from being a member are the articles that are shared by the people I am connected with. The biggest problem I have with the site are the constant stream of recruiting companies sending messages. I have never used it for finding a job. I have liked seeing where former co-workers have ended up working and seeing how long they have been at each job.
